Words Of Condolescence

Schinkel and lost boys

So, today was a good day for me! I went to Bischmisheim because Mark told me that there is a church of Schinkel. WOW! Schinkel built in Saarland? I was very surprised. Of course, should I then view the church before my oral intermediate examination. There called they said that the building only to the church services on Sunday morning was open. I am therefore went there, but was a little late on. To 11:40 I found it in Bischmesheim just go out there and saw someone. I asked whether the church would still on and he really meant no more, but the clerk is still inside. Maybe I still have a couple of minutes.
I'm so pure and then have asked if I may take a few photos. I was allowed!
Then I thanked me and wanted to make only a few pictures from outside. Who kissed me was then a little something to the church and told me a little about out. Even the roof and the mechanical clock I could see it. It was really interesting and I am very grateful. Also for the brochure, which are still photos from the time before the last renovation. The church is an octagonal central building with surrounding gallery and a flat wooden ceiling. The gallery and the ceiling is supported by eight Corinthian, not kanelierten columns. Since the renovation Kaneluren are painted, what was so provided by Schinkel. The church was as especially economic Church planned because the community had little financial means. The result was a large enough church that took the town on two levels, and thus a smaller floor plan. Altar, pulpit and organ located on the east side. Sun Schinkel created despite the form of a centralized structure, the properties of a long house.
did I also get to be out that the cell is in Kastel at Serrig by Schinkel. Since I'm used to a couple of times executed emigrated with my father. The cell I have always liked, now I know why :-)

Then a few words about yesterday's premiere of "homeless". It was by far not the worst that I 've seen so far in Kaiserslautern, but - and there are other of the same opinion - it was just too cheesy!
It starts and you see a formation of different high platforms and stairs on the revolving stage. the second scene, some elements were in the shadows of the loft and I thought "wow, this looks great!" - Then the light went on ... The items were painted as the stage set of a children's play ... Said Aicher also showed the production. She was very much attuned to simple family entertainment as something to develop in dramatic outline. The piece would have to without doubt the Potetial!
particularly annoying, I found the animals of Father Vitalis (Ansgar). Two dogs and a monkey were three People in costumes represented fairly crude and really only served the public entertainment, which is the average audience of Pfalztheater liked but good. (I give this time from no rating)
was well cast, especially Father Vitalis (Ansgar Schäfer) had strong for me the first song after he took the little Remi. Remi has been well performed and sung by Ute Henry Büttner. Her fresh, youthful voice and her casual game went well with the 11-year-old boy who is at the heart of the Ramat ansich's story.
short on content: The widow Miligan has a son who is the uncle of the succession is in the way - so he must be cleared away. For this purpose, hires James Miligan Harry and the pair of crooks in Maggie Driscoll. The two are a cross between Bonnie & Clyde, Laurel & Hardy and clearly the Thenardier! They bring the young not Take it from England to France, where he grew up his step father sold it on the market. From then on he moves with the traveling entertainers father Vitalis through the country and learned Lady Milfort and know their son Arthur. The sickly child was a few months after the disappearance of the boy to the world and is the uncle since then also a thorn in the side. Contact with Lady Milford jolts from a series of unfortunate coincidences and Remi must still overcome some adventures before he can return to his family.
Lady Milford was played by Barbara Bräckelmann. In the beginning, and I really liked it very well, but in between there were some places that I was very reminiscent of someone from our house - that was not easy. Too bad, because she had some very good moments! occupied
The Thenardier, sorry, the Driscoll were good with Astrid Vosberg and Samuel Schuermann. The latter reminded me of the young Ilja Richter. They made a lot of the roles that make them obviously fun, too. I found the weighting in the play was still too much on these characters.
Geertje Nissen played the first stepmother draw very impressive and with a great voice!
I think it really is for children great piece, but if you go in with the wrong expectations, we will certainly be very disappointed. One must also have no aversion to kitsch and sentimentality ...
