The premiere of" Aggiungi un Posto a Tavola -. heaven, Ark. and torrential rain was "a complete success there were some difficulties but who are, if any, noticed only very few spectators These were mainly things like a column are not accurate. has been on the mark, or a phone that was not equal to the position. The next major effect was to dismiss the audience into the break: The building of the ark had been practiced only three times and still managed to cast it, which reassemble 7.5 m long and 2.5 m high ship in just a minute and sit up. Es war viel Arbeit, die ich ihnen in nur einem Monat zugemutet habe aber am Ende haben sie auch gesehen, daß es sich gelohnt hat.

Aggiungi un Posto a Tavola - Himmel Arche und Wolkenbruch, wie das Musical in der deutschen fassung heißt, hat in der Inszenierung der Compagnia Teatro Popolare Cita di Merzig am Samstag in der Stadthalle Merzig Premiere.
Ich bin etwas nervös... Morgen früh bringen wir das Bühnenbild in Einzelteilen in the town hall and build it up there. Noon tomorrow will be furnished the light. Subsequently, the construction of the Ark for the final rehearsal of the first act and at 19:30 to do with the dress rehearsal.
I can not think properly. The first set was designed by me will be up tomorrow on a stage. Madness!
The parts look better than I dared to dream. They have really done a great job implementing my designs - Complimenti!

A 30-hour day. In the morning there was snow
to better Inger station and from there to Frankfurt. United Airlines brought us to Washington to New York where the first game it was as much musical posters seen. Finally
we arrived at our hotel. The "New Yorker" is an old hotel from the 30s (the Jazz Era) in the Art Deco style. When you walk through the brazen doors to get into the two-storey entrance hall with its fluted, surmounted by Corinthian pilasters, the large gallery and the large ornate chandeliers coffered ceiling. An impressive first impression! From the entrance on the right there were two gift shops and the restaurant "Vinard. On the left there was the Cafe New Yorker "and" Tick Tock Diner. A nice dinner at the age of Art Deco style. The first breakfast there was so good that we started every morning there have. Bagel and omelette with American cheese were particularly high in the course but also the specialty burgers and sweet potato fries were divine!

Even at home we looked at the special fixtures for the week around New Year and with current offers (Lottery, Rush and Standing Room polices) matched and so put together our schedule.

Disappointed, we decided (as it is for the period were no regular cards), our plan to switch to the frustration of shopping and move on. So that we not repeat such a thing as happened with Rent and we decided to see everything we wanted to buy cheap tickets in advance. So we spent the afternoon in order to go from theater to theater and go wild on it to book up to our new schedule was safe. We bought tickets for "Avenue Q", "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels," "Phantom of the Opera do" and "The Producers". Sweeney Todd was sold out already, but here we had the next morning, the chance of standing room tickets. The Marquis Theatre is at the Marriot Hotel Complex accommodated. It is one of the newer Broadway theaters from the 1980s. The lobby on two levels is very generous, because it is also simultaneously the access area to a large number of conference rooms was. The lobby was accessed by several escalators or some high-speed glass elevators. The room was a modern Einrang theater with sharply rising tiers. I must admit, THAT was the first set that I've seen where you can write a "Motion Sickness-Effect"! If the projections start in one direction and then another to turn up, the soil turns but in the other direction, then one can be a bit queasy.
The piece is perhaps far from Webber's best work but certainly still worth a visit. In my opinion, simply to repeat sic many elements often develop without any real tension. In addition, the role of Count Fusco is designed so that it stands out more by cheap gags than by dramatic contour. This could be the role certainly very interesting if it had been created fundamentally different. In the popular imagination was playing the role of Norman Large, which actually is Michael Ball. All other roles were played by the first cast, which is in New York almost the rule. I have not assumed that Maria Friedman at the moment plays (Given their state of health), but I have great pleasure to see them again. After breakfast we made our way to the Eugene O'Neill Theatre to standing room for Sweeney Todd to organize. We were there very early and therefore had a while outside in the cold, but it was we are also the first who got standing room for the evening performance.
lunch we went to "The Producers". The musical is very entertaining and well made. A great parody of the traditional Broadway style. The enormous hype that has been made to the musical is absolutely incomprehensible.
from the cast stood out Hunter Foster as Leo Bloom Accountants forth. The brother of Sutton Foster (Jo in "Little Women" and "Modern Millie") was probably as Seymour in "Little Shop of Horrors revival of the ideal candidate.
Bill Nolte as Franz Liebkind Nazi exile impressed by almost comprehensible German (One wonders if one views the American Phonetic look).
I was very skeptical, but the piece did with a big smile and really leave a lot of good tunes in your head.
The music is a great tribute to the "good old time Broadway" and the story a great satire on just this.
The Grand Opening number "Opening Night" i could have almost in "Kiss Me Kate" as the "other side" from "Another Openin ', Another Show." WHILE Kiss me Kate shows premiere mood backstage you can see here the closing night audience and staff there who are celebrating the latest flop from Max Bialistock.
short to action: accountants Leo Bloom notes that under certain circumstances, a flop can bring in a producer more than a success - if not quite legal. So Max and Leo embark on the search for the worst piece of horrific director and actor grottig for their production. Unfortunately, the piece will be a great success and the two walk in the prison, what their career will not hurt, however. "The King of Broadway" sounds like the howling solo violin much like Fiddler on the Roof (without copying) and "That Face" could be installed without problems in My Fair Lady. As good Mel Brooks meets with his songs, the style of classic Broadway success!
Unlike 42nd Street, I never imagined the scenes between the songs do not wished away. The jokes were for typical Mel Brooks, partially borderline, but often (not always) used in intelligent than some other comedy. Overall, comes across most clearly the satire on Broadway rather than the spoof of Germans, gays, old people, etc. .. the decorations are more that are so exaggerated that it is actually likely to feel offended at any time because it 's just too caricatured. went
dinner we have to Sweeney Todd. A very impressive performance! The musical by Sondheim was subjected to a sharp tightening of director Doyle. The Ensemble was reduced to 10 performers playing in addition to their roles and an ensemble and orchestra! For New Year we have reserved the highlight of our New York stay. Tickets to Wicked, we have already ordered in Germany, which did was not so simple ... but that's another story.
going at 10 clock in the morning we went with "Behind the Emerald Curtain", a tour of Wicked Museum and a film screening with cast members of Wicked. The subsequent question time was particularly interesting. Then we have to
seventh (!) Attempts at the Wicked Lottery for Tommy to get another card. Unfortunately, again without success. So it was obviously a good decision making reservations at home. The seats were absolutely fantastic. A little further away but not too far. The floor rose well and the gap was to be just right to kill not the same of everything. You have to see Wicked often and can always still not see every detail.
The show was really perfect, except for Fiyero. David Ayers was really bad! How can someone like him get a role on Broadway? Sorry, but could not really sing! There was nothing. He has not played poorly, but overall it was once only a tone that seemed to me known from the CD - that must have been an oversight.
Rue McClanahan (known as Blanche in "Golden Girls") played Madame Morrible. At first I found their mannerisms when speaking very exaggerated, but it improved throughout the piece. Shoshana Bean interpreted the role of Elphaba Idina Menzel significantly different than on the CD but with just the powerful voice as its predecessor. The same can be said about Megan Hilty. Your Glinda was much more sympathetic than I have imagined the role of the CD forth. There were even recognize parallels to Amneris in "Aida." The change from "T" for the responsible ruler and the triangular relationship was similar.
The Wizard of Oz was played in this performance by Sean McCourt. He was first cast at the premiere for Elphaba's father and played in the meantime Batboy. His wizard was much clearer than it did on the CD. His songs "Sentimental Man and Wondeful were not pure numbers but gave the show character actually contour. Visually, too, seemed not so much like a wizard fairy tale, what with his Predecessors certainly the case, you judge it by the pictures ... It was interesting similarity between the Wizard and Ephabas father. A nice

After Wicked we fought our way a few blocks from the south.
The walk to the Imperial Theatre proved more difficult than expected because the police have erected roadblocks in the direction of Ties Square that no one goes unchecked in the District. The Avenue Q is a road on the outskirts of New York where you live, if it is too expensive elsewhere. Princeton rented an apartment here and looking for the meaning of life. He meets Kate, the monster next door, to know (and love) but to the happy ending is there anything out. Since there are the bar singer Lucy, the conservative, secretly (but obviously) gay Rod and his heterosexual tenants, the neighbors Garry Coleman (known from TV), Christmas Eve and Brian. (The last three people, the first dolls such as the Muppets - only better * g *)

After breakfast we made our way to the Eugene O'Neill Theatre to standing room for Sweeney Todd to organize. We were there very early and therefore had a while outside in the cold, but it was we are also the first who got standing room for the evening performance.
lunch we went to "The Producers". The musical is very entertaining and well made. A great parody of the traditional Broadway style. The enormous hype that has been made to the musical is absolutely incomprehensible.
from the cast stood out Hunter Foster as Leo Bloom Accountants forth. The brother of Sutton Foster (Jo in "Little Women" and "Modern Millie") was probably as Seymour in "Little Shop of Horrors revival of the ideal candidate.
Bill Nolte as Franz Liebkind Nazi exile impressed by almost comprehensible German (One wonders if one views the American Phonetic look).
I was very skeptical, but the piece did with a big smile and really leave a lot of good tunes in your head.
The music is a great tribute to the "good old time Broadway" and the story a great satire on just this.
The Grand Opening number "Opening Night" i could have almost in "Kiss Me Kate" as the "other side" from "Another Openin ', Another Show." WHILE Kiss me Kate shows premiere mood backstage you can see here the closing night audience and staff there who are celebrating the latest flop from Max Bialistock.
short to action: accountants Leo Bloom notes that under certain circumstances, a flop can bring in a producer more than a success - if not quite legal. So Max and Leo embark on the search for the worst piece of horrific director and actor grottig for their production. Unlike 42nd Street, I never imagined the scenes between the songs do not wished away. The jokes were for typical Mel Brooks, partially borderline, but often (not always) used in intelligent than some other comedy. For New Year we have reserved the highlight of our New York stay. Tickets to Wicked, we have already ordered in Germany, which did was not so simple ... but that's another story.
going at 10 clock in the morning we went with "Behind the Emerald Curtain", a tour of Wicked Museum and a film screening with cast members of Wicked. The subsequent question time was particularly interesting. Then we have to
seventh (!) Attempts at the Wicked Lottery for Tommy to get another card. Unfortunately, again without success. So it was obviously a good decision making reservations at home. The seats were absolutely fantastic. A little further away but not too far. The floor rose well and the gap was to be just right to kill not the same of everything. You have to see Wicked often and can always still not see every detail.
The show was really perfect, except for Fiyero. David Ayers was really bad! How can someone like him get a role on Broadway? Sorry, but could not really sing! There was nothing. He has not played poorly, but overall it was once only a tone that seemed to me known from the CD - that must have been an oversight.
Rue McClanahan (known as Blanche in "Golden Girls") played Madame Morrible. At first I found their mannerisms when speaking very exaggerated, but it improved throughout the piece. Shoshana Bean interpreted the role of Elphaba Idina Menzel significantly different than on the CD but with just the powerful voice as its predecessor. The same can be said about Megan Hilty. Your Glinda was much more sympathetic than I have imagined the role of the CD forth. There were even recognize parallels to Amneris in "Aida." The change from "T" for the responsible ruler and the triangular relationship was similar.
The Wizard of Oz was played in this performance by Sean McCourt. He was first cast at the premiere for Elphaba's father and played in the meantime Batboy. His wizard was much clearer than it did on the CD. His songs "Sentimental Man and Wondeful were not pure numbers but gave the show character actually contour. Visually, too, seemed not so much like a wizard fairy tale, what with his Predecessors certainly the case, you judge it by the pictures ... It was interesting similarity between the Wizard and Ephabas father. A nice

After Wicked we fought our way a few blocks from the south.
The walk to the Imperial Theatre proved more difficult than expected because the police have erected roadblocks in the direction of Ties Square that no one goes unchecked in the District. The Avenue Q is a road on the outskirts of New York where you live, if it is too expensive elsewhere. Princeton rented an apartment here and looking for the meaning of life. ... not so great. That is not in the theaters, because those are often very beautiful, magnificently decorated theaters of the early years of last century with stucco, frescoes, chandeliers etc.
a very special charm, the Golden Theatre (Avenue Q) was that with Gothic arches and the Jerusalem candle in the interior looked like a replica of Camelot.
